About Idalia

dalia (Dali) spent most of her childhood at the library surrounded by a stack of books...

She hails from the roughest side of Yonkers, NY, and moved to Upstate NY to give her family a better living. In the midst of it all, she was also working full time at a veterinary hospital, medical clinic, and a mother of four. She was an extremely fussy and particular child with an undying love for Fruity Pebbles, peach lemonade, and frosted donuts. A self-proclaimed geek, lover of many games (especially The Sims 1, 2,3 & 4), her nose was in a book when she wasn't playing games. Her love for reading grew more when she started reading all of Judy Blume's books, Ann M. Martin, Anne Rice, Francine Pascal, Barbara Park, J.K. Rowling, C.S. Lewis, Carolyn Keene, Rick Riordan, Stephanie Meyers, Beverly Cleary, Roald Dahl, Cassandra Clare, Stephen King, C.C. Hunter, N.K. Jemisin, Zane, E. L. James, and many more. One day she woke up with the desire of writing her own story, her own characters where she can seep herself into a fantasy world. She picked up a notebook and pen and has never been able to put it down, creating countless stories and making some of them come to life by using The Sims as a platform to film them in as Machinima. Her passion for writing and creating didn't stop there; she also dove into the world of Role Play, allowing her to become one with her characters, giving them life, personalities, dreams, and goals. Becoming a published Author is her next goal, so she is currently writing her first novel of many more to come...
